The Process of Searching for Property
In my experience, people usually want to start their search for property, using a broad review of all listings, within a geographical area and a specific price range. For this task, I would suggest using our Public MLS Search, as it provides limited detail about all listings, in a good search format. This will provide a general feel as to what is available in each area, at the various price levels.

Come Explore section, offering a narrative review of lower Sunshine Coast, offering a multitude of links to other information resources. This will help you narrow down which area of the Sunshine Coast you would prefer; Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, Halfmoon Bay or Pender Harbour areas.
At some point, you will begin to draw conclusions about the minimum number of bedrooms and bathrooms you will need. Perhaps a minimum size of home, in terms of square footage or maybe you determine that you would prefer a rancher. As time passes, your search will become more specific, as you narrow in on what you are seeking.
When you reach this point, you will likely feel a need for a more detailed search mechanism. One that allows you to specify more parameters than just area and price and, ideally, one that provides more details about each property. I have also found that right about the same time as you start to require more
property detail, you are also starting to think about choosing your Realtor. If
you're not, you should be. A good Realtor will cost you nothing, & can save
you a lot of time, up front, in defining & qualifying your needs. Real Estate
commissions are almost always paid by the Seller of the property.
